The Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Myanmar leads the bloc’s development cooperation and humanitarian support in the country. The EU is one of Myanmar’s largest international partners, providing sustained humanitarian and development assistance to address immediate needs and promote longer‑term stability and resilience. The EU supports a range of areas, including peace and governance, education and human development, sustainable livelihoods, nutrition, food security, climate resilience and humanitarian aid. It works closely with partners to deliver life‑saving support, promote good governance, and strengthen inclusive socio‑economic development. Through these efforts, the EU maintains its commitment to supporting people in need and advancing sustainable, people-centred development, while working with responsible partners.
