Australia is deepening its development partnerships with Southeast Asia by tackling some of the region’s most pressing priorities, such as inclusive economic growth, climate change, clean energy transition, and gender equality. In Myanmar, the Government of Australia is guided by the Australian-Myanmar Development Partnership Plan 2024–2029. This details a long-term vision for how the development program will meet the critical needs of its partners, support sustainable development, and help lift people out of poverty.
