Livelihoods and Food Security Fund LIFT announces approval of USD1.5 million in funding to our key civil society partners to support COVID-19 preparedness in communities across Myanmar. The LIFT’s donors are the United Kingdom, the European Union, Switzerland, Australia, the United States of America, Canada and Ireland.
LIFT’s strategic partners implementing this response are Karuna Mission Social Solidarity (KMSS), Metta, Land Core Group (LCG), Network Activities Group (NAG), and Gender Equality Network (GEN), and it will benefit more than 1.5 million people. The COVID-19 response activities will support migrant returnees, the general public and specific marginalised groups, internally displaced people and their host communities to fight the pandemic.
This programme will emphasise raising awareness, mobilisation of local resources and CSO leaders and engaging with frontline leaders, through three strategic approaches:
- Coordination and partnerships (national and sub-national level)
- Support to CSOs to coordinate their activities with the Government Contingency Plan
- Contribution to policy formulation
These civil society organisations have extensive geographic coverage and close contact with large numbers of the population. The organisations are already supporting communities within their existing projects, individually and collectively and, with this additional funding from LIFT, they will scale up their response to support preparedness for, management of and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic in three programme objectives:
- Objective 1: Improved access to information on and awareness of effective prevention and response to COVID-19.
- Objective 2: Mobilised local resources and effect support to communities provided by CSOs
- Objective 3: Creation and building of trust and relationships with frontline leaders and service providers

COVID-19 ကာကွယ်တားဆီးရေး လုပ်ငန်းများ ဆောင်ရွက်နေကြသော မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရှိ အရပ်ဘက် လူမှု အဖွဲ့အစည်းများကို LIFT က ပံ့ပိုးပေးနေပါသည်
အသက်မွေးဝမ်းကျောင်းမှုနှင့်စားနပ်ရိက္ခာဖူလုံရေး ရန်ပုံငွေ (LIFT) သည် အဓိကလက်တွဲ ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိသည့် အရပ်ဘက် လူမှုမိတ်ဖက်အဖွဲ့အစည်းများကို မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတဝှမ်းရှိ ပြည်သူများအတွက် COVID-19 အရေးပေါ်ဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ လုပ်ဆောင်ရန် အမေရိကန်ဒေါ်လာ ၁သန်းခွဲ ရန်ပုံငွေချထားပေးလိုက်ကြောင်း ကြေညာလိုက်ပါသည်။ LIFT ၏ အလှူရှင်များမှာ ယူနိုက်တက်ကင်းဒမ်းမ်၊ ဥရောပသမဂ္ဂ၊ ဆွစ်ဇာလန်၊ သြစတြေးလျ၊ အမေရိကန် ပြည်ထောင်စု၊ ကနေဒါနှင့် အိုင်ယာလန်တို့ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
LIFT မဟာဗျူဟာမိတ်ဖက်အဖွဲ့များဖြစ်သည့် ကရုဏာမြန်မာ (KMSS)၊ မေတ္တာဖွံဖြိုးရေးဖောင်ဒေးရှင်း (Metta) ၊ မြေယာမဏ္ဍိုင် (LCG)၊ ပေါင်းစုလုပ်အားအကူညီပေးရေးအဖွဲ့ (NAG)၊ ကျား၊မရေးရာတန်းတူညီမျှရေးကွန်ယက် (GEN) တို့မှ ဆောင်ရွက်သွားကြမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး ပြည်သူ ၁.၅သန်းကို အကျိုးဖြစ်ထွန်းစေမည် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ အမိနိုင်ငံသို့ ပြန်လည်ရောက်ရှိလာသည့် ရွှေ့ပြောင်းလုပ်သားများ၊ အများပြည်သူ နှင့် အထူးသဖြင့် ဝမ်းစာမဖူလုံသောအုပ်စုများ၊ နေရပ်စွန့်ခွာရွှေ့ပြောင်းနေထိုင်ရသူများ နှင့် ဒေသခံများကို COVID-19 အရေးပေါ်လုပ်ငန်းများဖြင့် ယခုကပ်ရောဂါအား ခုခံတွန်းလှန်နိုင်စေရန် ပံ့ပိုးလုပ်ဆောင်မည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
ဤအစီအစဉ်သည် အသိပညာပေးမြှင့်တင်မှုများ၊ ဒေသတွင်းရှိ ရင်းမြစ်များ၊ အရပ်ဘက် လူမှုအဖွဲ့အစည်းခေါင်းဆောင်များ၊ ရှေ့တန်းမှ ကူညီပံံ့ပိုးမှုများကို ဦးဆောင်နေကြသူများအား စုစည်းခြင်းတို့ကို မဟာဗျူဟာ (၃)ခုဖြင့် အလေးထားဆောင်ရွက်မည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
၁) တနိုင်ငံလုံး နှင့် တိုင်းနှင့်ပြည်နယ်အဆင့် ပူးပေါင်းညှိနှိုင်းပြီး လက်တွဲဆောင်ရွက်ခြင်း
၂) အရပ်ဘက်အဖွဲ့အစည်းများ၏ လုပ်ငန်းရပ်များကို အစိုးရ၏ ရှေ့ဆက်ဆောင်ရွက်မည့်လုပ်ငန်းစဉ် လမ်းညွှန်းချက်နှင့်အညီ ဆောင်ရွက်ရန်အတွက် ပံ့ပိုးခြင်း
၃) မူဝါဒဖော်ဆောင်မှုများတွင် အထောက်အကူပြုခြင်း
ဤအရပ်ဘက်အဖွဲ့အစည်းများမှာ နယ်မြေအနေအထားလိုအပ်ချက်ကို အကျွမ်းတဝင်ရှိထားပြီး ပြည်သူလူထုအများအပြားနှင့်လည်း တရင်းတနှီး သိရှိထားပြီးဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ဤအဖွဲ့များသည် ရပ်ရွာလူထုများကို လက်ရှိဆောင်ရွက်ဆဲစီမံချက်များဖြင့် တဖွဲ့ချင်းအားဖြင့်သော်လည်းကောင်း စုပေါင်း၍သော်လည်းကောင်း ပံ့ပိုးလျက်ရှိပြီး LIFT မှ ယခု ထပ်မံရရှိသောရန်ပုံငွေဖြင့် COVID-19 ကပ်ရောဂါ ကာကွယ်တားဆီးရေး၊ စီမံခန့်ခွဲမှု နှင့် ပြန်လည်ထူထောင်ရေးလုပ်ငန်းများကို တိုးမြှင့်ဆောင်ရွက်မည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ အစီအစဉ်တွင် ရည်မှန်းချက် (၃)ခု ချမှတ်ထားပါသည်။
