Mercy Corps, has published the final report on Vegetable Consumption, Preferences and Supply Chain, funded by LIFT. 

This report, commissioned by the Making Vegetable Markets Work (MVMW) was presented last week at the Second National Round Table Meeting on Vegetable Sector Development.

MVMW aims to improve farm incomes from vegetable production, and subsequently household livelihoods, in Southern Shan and Rakhine States, in Myanmar. MVMW is looking to increase competitiveness of the vegetable sector as a whole and to improve the policy and enabling environment in order to promote sector growth.

The authors key objective of the research was to understand how consumers and actors in the supply chain evaluated vegetable quality.The report is an easy-to-read informative piece which presents MVMW's findings.
