LIFT continues to support IFC Training for Managers of Myanmar MFIs this month with two sessions on the “Fundamentals of Risk Management”. Details follow:
Service provider: EDA in association with Myanmar Microfinance Association
Dates: 15‐19 June & 22‐26 June
Venue: The Corriander Leaf, Building No. 12, Ahlone Road, Yangon International Hotel Compound. Yangon, Myanmar.
Duration: Five days (each module)
Location: Yangon.
Cost to MFIs: $50 per participant as a token fee for each module. This fee does not cover the cost of the training which is sponsored by LIFT. MMA will collect the amount and spend it on materials and logistics support as agreed with IFC.
Participants: To be nominated by MFIs operational in Myanmar for a minimum of 12 months (preferably Myanmar local staff).The nominating MFI must pay the $50 module fee. Managers nominated should have at least 12 months experience of microfinance operations with any MFI (either her/his current employer or another MFI). In case we are over booked, MFIs that nominate more than two Managers will be requested to drop their participation two participants only.
