‘Consultancy on Co-operative Systems in Myanmar’ was commissioned by LIFT to see how co-operatives link to LIFT’s goal of expanding access to affordable financial services in Myanmar. The study compares the evolution and state of cooperatives in Myanmar with at other Asian countries. It provides policy recommendations to LIFT on potential areas of linkages between co-operative development and LIFT’s programmes.
